~Instructor-led Online Courses Now Eligible for PMI PDUs~

Ithaca, NY, February 05, 2008 — eCornell, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cornell University, specializing in online professional development
and executive education courses has been named a Global Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.) by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
As a R.E.P., eCornell has been approved by PMI to issue Professional Development Units (PDUs) for twenty-seven of eCornell's leadership,
strategic management, financial management, and management development courses authored by faculty at Cornell University's Johnson
Graduate School of Management, ILR School, and School of Hotel Administration. Project Management Professionals (PMPs) seeking to
maintain their certification now have an Ivy League option for their ongoing professional development.
PMI has become the global advocate for the project management profession with more than 240,000 members in over 160 countries.
PMI is actively engaged in setting professional standards, promoting career and professional development for PMPs, and managing
the R.E.P. Program.
In addition to the twenty-seven courses already approved for PDUs, eCornell is developing a six-course certificate series on Project
Leadership in collaboration with Cornell University's top-ranked College of Engineering. Project Leadership is scheduled to become
available in the summer of 2008.
