Andrea M. Basile Terrillion, Esq.

Director, Labor Relations and Legal Studies Programs

School of Industrial and Labor Relations


Andrea M. Basile Terrillion is the Associate Director of Management with the Metropolitan Office of Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations Extension in New York City. Her primary responsibilities are the Labor Relations and Legal Studies programs. In her capacity as Associate Director, Ms. Terrillion develops and facilitates workshops in Cornell's Human Resources, Labor Relations, Equal Employment Opportunity, and Management Development programs. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Georgetown University and her Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from Albany Law School of Union University, Albany, New York.

Ms. Terrillion is a labor and employment law attorney. She has advised, counseled, and represented Fortune 100 companies, large non-profit organizations, and municipalities. Ms. Terrillion has developed and presented training programs on employment law issues for executives, human resource professionals, senior managers, and first-line supervisors. Clients include Agway, Inc., AstraZeneca, Bausch & Lomb, Inc., the Environmental Sensitivities Research Institute, the National Human Resources Association, the New York State Department of Labor, and Welch Allyn, Inc.

She has provided legal commentary and analysis on workplace law issues for local and national media (print, radio, and television) and has published several articles on the subject. In addition, she has lectured throughout the United States on various labor and employment law topics.
