Mary S. Rudder

Adjunct Instructor

School of Industrial and Labor Relations

Mary Rudder graduated from Harris Stowe College and the University of Tennessee. She holds a Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.

Ms. Rudder is the President of Management Ventures, Inc., a training and consulting firm based in St. Louis, Missouri. Mary has more than 20 years experience in consulting, general management, employee relations, communication, and speaking, with an emphasis in the fields of finance, education, health care, manufacturing, and insurance.

Ms. Rudder has held the positions of Training and Development Manager, Employee Relations Consultant, and Educational Administrator. She specializes in helping clients select, develop, and retain quality employees and providing group facilitation to assist processes in change, growth, and transition. Improving communication strategies within an organization and among its associates has always been a passion for her.

In addition, Mary is the author of PBI: Performance Based Interviewing, Letting Go at Ten Thousand Feet, a motivational tape on transition and change, and she is often asked by the print and broadcast media for her views on selection, interpersonal relations, communication, and change management.
