Mary S. D'Amato

Adjunct Instructor
School of Industrial and Labor Relations Mary D’Amato, MS, an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist, is President of Rx Management, a training, consulting and executive coaching firm based in St. Louis, Missouri. With more than 25 years as a practiced consultant and Executive and Life Coach, Mary specializes in Communication, Team Intervention, Development, Executive Leadership and Employee Relations, with experience in varied fields, such as finance, education, health care, manufacturing and technology.

Mary has held the positions of Training and Development Manager, Employee Relations Consultant and Educational Administrator. She specializes in helping clients select, develop and retain quality employees and providing group facilitation to assist processes in change, growth and transition. Improving communication strategies within an organization and among its associates has always been a passion for her.

Mary graduated from Harris Stowe College and the University of Tennessee. She holds a Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and serves as an adjunct instructor at Cornell University, ILR, where she teaches the MDHRM workshops on Employee Relations.

In addition, Mary is the author of a variety of business tools including PBI: Performance Based Interviewing, Letting Go at Ten Thousand Feet, a motivational program on transition and change, and HARP Communication Styles.
