Online Marketing Manager

eCornell is seeking an Online Marketing Manager for its marketing team with  demonstrated passion and experience implementing and analyzing best practices and latest trends on the internet. The successful candidate will ideally have experience in the online higher education or online training and development industries with a proven track record of measurably improving website performance and increasing qualified traffic and associated sales. His/her strengths and skills in SEO, PPC, email marketing, web analytics, and social media will be central to meeting eCornell's business goals and to bringing awareness of eCornell and its world-class learning experiences to the world.

Responsibilities
  • Measure, analyze, optimize all websites to build awareness of eCornell and align with business and revenue goals
  • Manage all web-related projects from end-to-end
  • Stay current with new internet trends and technologies and recommend and implement new functionalities
  • Develop and deploy effective SEO and lead generation programs
  • Manage PPC campaigns
  • Collaborate with marketing team to build and monitor transactional landing pages for lead generation
  • Monitor and manage site usage using Google Analytics - spot trends and propose solutions
  • Improve user experience on sites
  • Integrate social networking, social media, multi-media
  • Monitor and report on effectiveness of email blast campaigns
  • Analyze websites for multi-platform compatibility
Experience a plus in
  • Flash
  • Audio / Video production
  • Integration of  Live Chat (experience with LivePerson preferred)
  • Salesforce.com and integration of Salesforce Applications
  • ecommerce systems
  • Mac OSX and web programming languages including (html, xml, css, php, javascript, ajax)
  • Adobe Suite - graphic design
General Requirements


Bachelor's degree in marketing, or computer science with a minimum of 5 years experience in website design / optimization in a competitive sales and marketing environment. 

Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal, listening and written communication.

Ability to integrate with all parts of the organization, external contractors and vendors.

Excellent project management skills and organization

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaborate as a strong team member handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Excellent attention to detail, flexible and adaptable to changes

Ability to operate under pressure and meet or exceed deadlines

Must understand the dynamics of the online learning industry
