Description
During your enrollment in the Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management program, you’ll select four Webcasts on a variety of topics related to your coursework to participate in; and our wide range of offerings will allow you to focus on the topics that are of greatest interest to you. Through your participation in these Webcasts, you’ll be able to connect with senior ILR faculty around topics of critical importance to the HR function and in which our faculty are recognized experts. You’ll also have the opportunity to connect with other HR professionals inside and outside the program.
These Webcasts will supplement and extend the core course content with up-to-the-minute ideas, thoughts, and practices. You’ll be exposed to the latest thinking and cutting-edge research and practice related to key areas of the HR function. You’ll also have opportunities to ask questions, and to present challenges and issues for discussion, taking advantage not only of the faculty presenter’s expertise but of the larger audience as well in the live session.
Webcast sessions will begin in early November of 2009, will be scheduled several months in advance, and will be offered live approximately every six weeks. They will also be recorded and archived for future reference so that you can review them on your own schedule.
Scheduled Webcasts from ILR Faculty will include topics such as managing talent, employee relations, diversity, managing for execution, executive compensation, and HR strategy.
