Inside Sales Representative

eCornell currently has an opening for an Inside Sales Representative to sell our professional development solutions to Fortune 1000 accounts world-wide. This position aligns and partners with Outside Directors – it reports to the SVP, Corporate Programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work within a team to sell professional development, achieving quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Collaborate with the Outside Directors to develop relationships with Fortune 1000 companies
  • Prospect to build a viable and documented pipeline of on-demand opportunities
  • Target competitive take-away opportunities
  • Identify professional development needs and propose appropriate solutions
  • Deliver effective presentations to mid-level and C-Suite decision makers
  • Negotiate the proposed solution’s terms and conditions
  • Work with Learning Consultants post-sale to ensure project accuracy and customer satisfaction
  • Provide superior communication and customer service
  • Maintain customer relationships to cross-sell and ensure future business

Background and Experience

  • Bachelors degree required and 5+ years of inside corporate sales experience
  • Track record as a top producer in a quota driven sales environment
  • Experience in the eLearning & professional development, training, professional services, consulting services
  • Works exceptionally well as a member of a team
  • Solid understanding of technical concepts and web applications
  • Successful experience selling to mid-level and C-Suite executives
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Polished professional who is self motivated and organized
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills/good listener
  • Passionate about sales and goal oriented
