All courses in our certificate programs are taught 100% online through eCornell’s online learning management system.

Courses contain learning modules that feature interactive discussions, video / text lectures, quizzes, case studies, course projects, and a variety of online tools to ensure satisfactory understanding of subject matter.

Most of our courses have start dates at least once a month-our most popular courses offer start more than one start date a month.

Yes, as you complete individual courses they apply towards their associated certificates. In order to earn your Cornell University Certificate, you do need to complete all required courses within a 2 year time period. Therefore, you can enroll for each course as you wish — course-by-course.

Payment depends on your organization’s requirements. Please review the “how to enroll” section as that will describe specific payment instructions. If you do not see the “how to enroll” section, please proceed with registration to better understand the payment process.

The courses can and do fill in advance as we limit the class size to 35 students per course so the instructor has plenty of time to devote to each student. Therefore we recommend enrolling soon to reserve your spot in the desired start date.

When you enroll, you do need to select all of your course start dates. You will have the flexibility to change these dates providing you request to change a course start date before the start date of the course.

Our programs do not qualify for financial aid. However, you can enroll course by course. You will still earn your certificate once you have successfully completed all of the courses within that certificate. By doing it this way, you will need to keep track of the courses you still need to earn your certificate. You will have a tool in your dashboard to help you with this.
