Our country is in the midst of a pandemic, an economic crisis, and massive social upheaval. The remarkable events of the past several months have reshaped the 2020 presidential race, and no one can truly predict what might happen between now and November 3.
This special two-part webinar will provide an expert, inside look at where the country stands as we approach the election. We will first hear from Charlie Cook of The Cook Political Report, widely considered one of the best political forecasters out there. He will take us through recent polling, the current state of play, and what to expect in the coming weeks and months.
Following Mr. Cook’s analysis, we’ll hear from conservative pundit and CNN host S.E. Cupp and Democratic political consultant and frequent MSNBC pundit Basil Smikle Jr. They will react in real time to Mr. Cook’s analysis and offer their thoughts on the political climate, including the impact that COVID-19 and the widespread protests against racism and police brutality will have on the election.
We will then be joined by former Congressman Steve Israel, Director of the Institute of Politics & Global Affairs at Cornell, for an in-depth look at the various issues that are likely to determine the outcome of the 2020 race.
