Lisa Chervinsky ’89, AIA, NCARB

Lisa Chervinsky is a lecturer in property development and management at the Cornell School of Hotel Administration (SHA), where she teaches courses in hotel development, planning, and design. As a licensed architect and SHA alumna, Ms. Chervinsky guides students using an interdisciplinary approach. With her in-depth understanding of the business of hospitality, building expertise, and creative vision, she seeks to inspire the next generation of hospitality professionals and provide them with the skills to succeed in this highly competitive field. Over the course of a career spanning more than 25 years, Ms. Chervinsky has developed iconic and award-winning hospitality spaces for branded and boutique operators in the U.S. and abroad. She is founder/principal of Collective Vision Design, Ltd., a firm whose collaborative business model joins together experienced professionals from multiple disciplines in flexible teams, providing high-quality hospitality design with reduced overhead. Ms. Chervinsky earned her undergraduate degree from Cornell’s SHA and a Master in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She has mentored countless young designers and is an active member of the Network of Executive Women in Hospitality and the American Institute of Architects.
