Kristen Lalowski is currently a senior vice president at VillageMD, where she is responsible for enterprise clinical technology decisions to ensure a positive patient and provider experience and for bringing new VillageMD products to market. VillageMD provides high-quality, accessible healthcare services for individuals and communities across the United States, with primary, multispecialty, and urgent care providers serving patients in traditional clinic settings, in patients’ homes, and via online appointments. Through Village Medical, Village Medical at Home, Summit Health, CityMD, and other practices, VillageMD serves millions of patients throughout their lives, wherever and whenever they need care. Its dedicated workforce of more than 20,000 operates from 680 practice locations in 26 markets.
Prior to her work at VillageMD, Ms. Lalowski worked in emergency nursing and nursing leadership. She made a career pivot to healthcare IT more than 20 years ago and has spent most of that time in senior leadership roles in business strategy and product management. Ms. Lalowski has led teams in several healthcare verticals, including electronic health records, precision medicine, telemedicine, and clinical communications. She’s passionate about making a difference in the lives of clinicians and their patients. Ms. Lalowski also holds a board position with the nonprofit Resilience, which supports sexual assault survivors through health policy activity, first-responder education, counseling, and other direct services.
Ms. Lalowski has a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Loyola University of Chicago and has taken executive courses at University of Chicago and University of Pennsylvania. She lives in Chicago with her husband, two sons, and their rescue dog.
